Where are you based?
I am based near Stroud, in Gloucestershire. I often travel elsewhere in the south of England, including Dorset, Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and London for weddings and other freelance makeup work.
I am also available for destination weddings, please get in touch to discuss further.
Do you charge a travel fee?
For bookings more than 15 miles from my location in postcode GL5 a fee for travel will be required. This is charged at a standard rate of 50p/mile.
Do you take a deposit?
I do not book more than one wedding for any given day, therefor a non-refundable booking fee of £50 is required to secure my services for your wedding date. This booking fee is then deducted from the total cost of your booked services.
When should I have a trial?
I recommend we arrange your trial for a date around 1 - 3 months prior to the wedding. I am more than happy to meet before that for a consultation and general chat about your requirements.
How many people you can accommodate?
This depends entirely on how much time we have to complete the makeup on the day. I also have a number of trusted makeup artist colleagues whom I call upon to assist with particularly large parties or those with a tight timescale.
Will my makeup last all day?
I am confident that you will be very happy with the lasting power of the makeup I apply. The majority of your makeup will stay in place all day and long into the night. The only thing that will usually need topped up is your lippy, what with all the kissing and talking, eating and drinking! I will let you know which lipstick I have used when we do your trial so you can purchase one the same.
Do you sell your products?
I am a independent consultant for Neal's Yard Remedies, so I am able to recommend and sell skincare products to help get your skin in tip-top condition ahead of your wedding.
At this time I don't sell any of my makeup products, but I can advise on the ones I have used on you and where to purchase them.
